Donation projects

With my city tours, I would like to do something good for the city where I like to live and for the people who live here

If you liked my site or one of my tours, I would like to invite you to do something good for others on a voluntary basis.
Here you have the opportunity to:

  1. select a project from my list
  2. Support a project of your choice
  3. do something good directly and in your own way.

Three suggestions for projects that are close to my heart

Vesperkirche Stuttgart

The first Vesperkirche in Germany took place in 1995 in the Leonhardskirche in Stuttgart. It has a fixed date: every year during the cold season (January to March). It is supported by the Diakonisches Bezirksstelle Stuttgart and hundreds of volunteers from different age and professional groups. It is important that those seeking help not only receive food, but are also accepted as human beings and able to make friends. More than 500 people now benefit from this offer every day.
Donations are possible on this page.

Geißstraße 7 Foundation

The foundation was established after a fire caused by arson at Geißstraße 7. The fire on March 16, 1994 killed seven people. The house was overcrowded and inhabited by refugees and people of foreign origin.
The Geißstraße 7 Foundation aims to initiate new thought-provoking ideas and civic engagement through a variety of cultural events and projects, as well as through its social housing program, International Living.

Verschönerungsverein Stuttgart e.V.

The Verschönerungsverein does a lot for the city’s “beautiful spots”. Without this work, many of the beautiful vantage points and parks that the association looks after would have long since become privately owned and no longer accessible to everyone. One of its current projects is the renovation of some of the city’s few old houses (Weberstraße).
